In 2004 Jamie was awarded the LCMM Sony Award for "Music and the Moving Image" for "Scoops", a composition for animation performed and recorded by the BBC Concert Orchestra. He was twice nominated for The Postgraduate Composers Prize (for Most Oustanding Allrounder) at LCMM in both 2004 and 2005.

In 2011 Jamie composed the world's first orchestral score for an eBook novel. Endworlds: Echoes of Worlds Past was recorded with a 70 piece orchestra in Prague, mixed by Steve Price (The Blue Planet, Mamma Mia) and mastered at Abbey Road Studios.

Jamie has also composed, co-written and produced for various pop albums and production music projects.

As a pianist and keyboard player, Jamie has played with many pop and jazz artists, in venues ranging from Ronnie Scott's and The Jazz Cafe to Shepherds Bush Empire and the London Astoria, as well as many TV appearances. He has also demonstrated the latest developments in music technology in his freelance role as Yamaha's UK synthesizer demonstrator.

He holds a Masters degree in Composition for Film and Television from London College of Music as well as a BA (Hons) in 20th Century Music Studies from the University of Sussex, England.
