In 2004 Jamie was awarded the LCMM Sony Award for "Music and the Moving Image" for "Scoops", a composition for animation performed and recorded by the BBC Concert Orchestra.

He was twice nominated for The Postgraduate Composers Prize (for Most Oustanding Allrounder) at LCMM in both 2004 and 2005.

Many compositions and arrangements for wind band, orchestra, jazz band, and other ensembles, including Not Waving But Drowning commissioned by the Mid-Sussex Youth Concert Band in 2000 and arrangements for Brighton’s Rainbow Chorus. Jamie has also composed and produced for various jazz/pop/soul and library music projects and collaborations.

As a pianist and keyboard player, Jamie has played in venues ranging from Ronnie Scott’s and The Jazz Café to Shepherds Bush Empire and the London Astoria, as well as several TV appearances. He also demonstrates the latest developments in music technology in his freelance role as the UK synthesizer demonstrator for Yamaha.

He holds a Masters degree in Composition for Film and Television from London College of Music as well as a BA (Hons) in 20th Century Music Studies from the University of Sussex, England.
